I dredged it for them when I came in at low tide today. I guess they wanted me to because they didn’t instruct me to be a few hours away from low tide, even though they asked for my draft.

The locals appreciate your good work.

Oh no! Is this the first time out after all the drive line work you just did?
Hopefully no problems.
Karen and I were just talking about you guys this morning when we drove by the Beaufort / Port Royal exit on 95. Hope you didn’t miss the shallow water alarm because your ears were ringing:)

We didn’t run aground. Kept moving and scooped up some mud here and there. Its all loose silt here, but you know you will be the first I call if there is a problem. Fortunately it’ll be high tide when we leave in the morning.

A very smart old salt once told me "Its always the captain's fault"

If it were anyone else bumping bottom I would be concerned, but for you Bill and your luck, I bet it was no problem!

Just spent 15 minutes under the boat. All good. Freshly painted props are now missing paint from the tips, that’s it. On to Titusville tomorrow. 25mph on the nose on Tolomato River was a lot of fun today. 6 footers in a river.

Yup, I've done a little dredging from time to time and fortunately with no damage. Six footers in a river? Been there, done that.

Come out to the Columbia River some time and I'll introduce you to some 8'ers to 11'ers.
