Hi guys, been awhile but figured l let you know the outcome. Little background, changed impeller and installed drive, alpha1 gen2. Two days later oil leaking from water inlets, kicked myself for not pressure testing it. I test it at home holds pressure can't get it to leak. put it back on thinking it was residual oil, two days later oil from inlet. Kick myself again, this time off to marina to reseal. They call, pressure and vacuum tested it can't find anything wrong. This piont start to question myself, what am I doing wrong, reinstall 3rd time, seems ok ,2 days later, FUDGE . Can't believe it. Stil leaking,at wits ends. Wife tells me to at least move it so she can grow grass in back yard, said wont grow till I turn on sprinklers, don't worry honey I did that a few days ago for you. Said to myself no way could the 2 be connected, sure enough you couldn't have aimed it better if you tried. Stream shoots right into inlet mixes with residual oil, slowly leakes out, early sun dries most of drive before I look at it. Can't stop kicking myself in rear. Thanks for letting me vent.Tony

That sounds like something that would happen to me. Funny! Glad that's all it was.

Oh, we've NEVER done anything stoopid like that so we're all just sitting her shaking our heads and trying not to recall the many times we've goofed up like that.

Glad you found it and it was nothing expensive.

I can't figure out how you got oil into the water inlet.....? I would've split top and bottom to check the little o-ring seal between the upper and lower half.
