Hi All,
Planning my annual trip to BI and MV in a few weeks. Are there any travel restrictions or cautions?
Thanks for any intel

We just returned from BI. No real restrictions, other than having to wear a mask at marinas and stores. Restaurants and stores all open.

Great...so Restaurants are open and not all take out. so other than wearing masks, no real difference.
Are all beaches open?
Thanks

yup, beaches were open as well. didn't hear of any going to capacity, but there are beaches all around the island!

We have done 5 trips to Block this season and just got back from a week out there. All restaurants are open. Most have more outdoor dining and limited indoor dining. I think the RI guideline is no more than 66% capacity for indoor dining. Other than that you just need to wear a mask anywhere in town. All beaches are open and masks are not required where you can social distance..

Same as above goes for MV. Restaurants are open but need to wear a mask unless seated at the table. Need to wear a mask in public anytime you are within 6ft of anyone. Technically in MA you are not supposed to raft with other boats while at anchor or on a mooring or have anyone on your boat other than your household members but I haven’t seen that rule enforced yet. Defiantly not as busy as a usual summer but overall same vibe.

Planning on heading out on 8/1 pending good weather. Going straight from Little Egg Inlet to BI....8 hour cruise. Planning to anchor at BI Salt Pond a few days and then head north to MV (oaks bluff slip then mooring at Edgartown).
Any other suggestions on must see places? Typically go to Newport but the slip rates are out of sight.
Thanks,
Ed
