Any simple way to carry small dinghy on small cruiser?

We carried a " bag boat" on our 30 Weekender and kept the outboard on a bracket mounted on the swim platform. We would blow it up in port. Fit on the floor of the rear deck with plenty of room to spare. Cheap easy solution to having a dingy on a small boat.

Thanks for all the replies and apologies for the delay in my response. Some good ideas. Neglected to say that I always remove the outboard before lifting it onto the davits. I have one of those small 2hp hondas. The dinghy with the inflatable floor only weighs 78# and it's a 10 footer. The potential problem with shifting the port davit to the outer edge is that the step starts to curve there. Might be the only option though. I'll probably look into that weaver arm as well instead of trying to unglue and move the existing pad. Looks like there would be a good benefit in regards to stability of the mount. Thanks for the ideas and pictures everyone. Appreciated!
