Need everyone’s opinion on these two products. Both companies have pattens and I am a DIYer. Will be covering cockpit and swim platform.

I've had both, Customer service at Aqua Deck is better, Sea Deck material seemed to have a little tougher finish but there is no science behind that, just my initial reaction. I had Sea Deck first and it was fine, Used Aqua Deck this boat because price difference was substantially less at Aqua Deck.

Thanks Nutz! I am seeing the same price difference between the two vendors. Candidly see much difference in quality? SeaDek is approx 27% more. Thanks for the feedback.

Very timely post...I'm getting quotes of roughly $1450 for SeaDek and $950-1150 for AquaDek (they don't have my template on file).

Does anyone know where to get the faux teak for the cabin stairs?

Templated the boat Saturday morning. Took about an hour to cutout all the pieces. All pieces fit. I am going to tweak the swimplatform a bit so there are no gaps. The lines are only directional and not the actual planks. Hope this helps anyone considering doing this themselves to see the process. Btw, the company I am using had my boat on file so they printed the templates for me to dryfit.

I just recently added an EVA faux teak material that I bought off Amazon. Cheaper than other options and they had a template for my boat (1997 330DA).

Template was inaccurate in a few spots, but the lower cost made up for it. I need to move my davits so haven’t done the swim platform yet.

Wife and I installed the SeaDeck this weekend. Turned out really nice. Makes the boat feel 10yrs newer. Not that an 04 felt old to begin with. If anyone has has questions on the overall process feel free to PM.

Have you checked the sites selling the product? Often, they will have a template even if it’s not advertised. May be worth making the call.
