Aquapalooza - Oyster Bay :smt043

Date: July 28, 2007
Join us for the biggest raft on the North Shore. This raft up will take place in the picturesque Oyster Bay.

For details, call Gina Barnett at 631-382-7723 or by email her at Gina.Barnett@MarineMax.com.

I just sent Gina an e-mail.
Is this an Aqapalooza event or a Marinemax only event? I got a mailing from MM with info on Fire Island and Manhattan with no mention of Oyster Bay.

I got the info from the MM web site, event calendar states it's an Aqapalooza event , not much info, I heard there was going to be one on the South Shore the weekend before this one, but I can't find any info on that one?

If I hear anything, I'll post it!

Yup......... We have our (2) Aquapalooza's this summer on the South Shore.......

1) Zacks Bay..... July 22

2) East Moriches.....July 22

This came from a brochure sent to me from M/M.

It seams like they all are on the same day...Zacks / East Moriches / Long Island Sound / Candlewood Lake / Hudson / ....all July 22

Sounds like it will be fun.................

hmmmm, which one should I go to?

The mailing I got was for Watch Hill on Fire Island on May 12-13 and Chelsea Piers in Manhattan June 8-10.

I also know Marine Max is having something at Liberty Landing Marina for the 4th of July week?

I hope we can get all these dates straight soon, I would like to start making plans!

Keep me in touch, if I learn anything, I'll post it ASAP!

yup....Thats on the list too....May 12 & 13 at Watch Hill F/I. That one will probably be the best.....it's a 2 day-er.

Hmmmmm....I'm off that weekend too........

Yes it is...... the crowd should be light !

May 12/13 is one of MM/SS3 weekend getaways which you need to confirm with Gina Barnett. It is also Mother's Day weekend so it might be a problem for me. Even though it is a little early in the season would still be a nice little run for 2 days/1 nite to make sure our heating/ac is in proper working order for the rest of the season.

Sounds like fun, Don, to Westhampton on the 4th.

OJ

I went on the SR web site and signed up for an Aquapalooza update email list, if I find out anything , I'll post it.

OJ......Yeah..... May 12 & 13 is a bit on the early side.....I'm not sure if we will be able to make it..... ( unless I go solo ).......although Im off...Deb is still working and Sunday wouldn't work for her. :smt021

Westhampton Beach Marina has been an annual run for us for the past 7 years....we really enjoy the time there.

Not sure if we will be able to make 5/12 - 5/13 to Watch Hill but am going to try. How long of a trip is it to Westhamptom Beach marina, Don? Is it something that you think I would be able to do unattended?

OJ

OJ...... We'll also see how it goes for the Watch Hill party...

From Lindenhurst to Westhampton is about 2 - 2 1/2 hour ride..... You MUST time the Moriches at high tide....other then that its a nice ride. If you ride out with us....it should be easy if your solo. It would be great if you can make it.....the more the merrier.
If you decide to go.....call ASAP to make reservations. The # for Westhampton Beach Marina is ( 631) 288-9496 ....ask for Marina reservations....speak with Chrissy. She'll take care of everything.

Its a great place.... to relax and have some fun. You will love it !!!!!
