Assesory Switch

Can anyone tell me what my Assesory switch on the helm panel does? There are wires attached but I can't trace them. I need a switch for the NMEA backbone and would like to use that, or does anyone have a clever idea for a switch and a location. That is easily assessable?

It varies. Do you have a windshield washer? I don't, so on my panel my 2 right-most switches are both Accessory. They're designed for things like optional electronics, so it's a good place to power your NMEA backbone. One of mines powers my 0183 and depthsounder, the other does auto-pilot and NMEA2K.

If you want to run a fresh line, there's a very handy fuse block behind the drop-down breakers below the helm.

My s itch turns the autopilot on! If it's not being used by anything hook up girl backbone to it! Good luck
