Boatless
Hello all,

I just wanted to take a moment to introduce myself. I just took home my latest Sea Ray (this is my 4th Sea Ray) a 2006 280 Sundancer. I have been boating since 1990, when I bought my 1st Sea Ray, but I've been boatless since SuperStorm Sandy took my beloved Undercover, a 1990 310 Express Cruiser. Got the bug this year and I wanted to get back in slowly, at first. I settled on the 280DA, years range of 2001-2009, but with a single. Very tough to find, as it turns out. Then, I found her! A pristine 2006 with a single 496 MAG/Bravo III, blue hull, blue canvas in great condition, genny, etc. This is the boat I would've ordered had I been the original owner, not kidding! The boat had been in fresh water, under a protected marina for the first 11 years of her life. No salt, no sun for 11 years! It was only up here in NJ for 2 seasons, where it was used for exactly 25 hours. I have never seen a used boat in this condition, and I've seen ALOT of boats! It was love at 1st sight.

I have some survey tales to tell, and also my impressions of the boat, in general, but I'll leave those for another time, if anyone is interested.

With that, I'm so happy to back on the water and also very happy to join you guys on CSR!

All the best,

Jay
