I pull my 310 Da roughly 5 to 10 mile twice a year to storage on a custom built road trailer with a 2012 sierra 2500hd 4x4. Now the trailer handles the weight and braking with no problems and the truck could care less with power even being a 6.0 gasser. The only thing that it was lacking was the truck was a little soft feel so I fitted it with Firestone HD airbags. The truck wasn't squatting under the tongue weight just didn't like how it felt rolling down the road. I'm hoping with a little bit of air in the bags the truck floating feel in the rear end will be better.

We have rear airbags in our 2500HD. Smaller boat but we also pack a 100 gal tidy tank in the box. The air bags are great to get rid of the squat when loaded but do little for ride stability. An overload system may be a better option if you're not happy with what you have now. Same ride empty but stiffens up loaded as it settles down on the additional springs and hangers.

I put Firestone airbags on my 2000 F350 a few years ago. I installed them for the side to side motion with our cabover camper. They work great.
