Ok guys. Can anyone tell me how my battery selector should be wired? I have two batteries.

A picture is worth a thousand words. Google an image and show us what you find.
Bilge pump and radio memory get wired directly to the battery.

Battery 1 to Input 1. Battery 2 to Input 2. Electrical bus to Output. Bilge pump and radio memory directly to one of the two batteries. If you have shore power and a battery charger, the battery charger output is wired directly to each battery.

My selector is as follows: Battery 1, cable to battery. Battery 2, cable goes to starter. Both, cable to battery 2.

The red cable from the + terminal of Battery 1 attaches to the post labelled BAT1 in the picture. The red cable from the + terminal of Battery 2 attaches to the post labelled BAT2 in the picture. A red cable attaches to the post labelled FEEDER in the picture and goes to the starter/electrical bus.

With the switch on Battery 1, power from Battery 1 goes through the switch and out the feeder line to the starter (Battery 2 is "turned off"). With the switch on Battery 2, power from Battery 2 goes through the switch and out the feeder line to the starter (Battery 1 is "turned off"). With the switch on Both, power from both Battery 1 and Battery 2 goes through the switch and out the feeder line to the starter. I believe your battery switch is not wired correctly.

Thanks Chip!! My ‘feeder’ goes to bat 2. My ‘bat 2’ connection goes to the starter. Thanks for your help.
