Bennett Trim Tab O Ring Position

I have a classic Bennett hydraulic trim tab actuator that is leaking so I am replacing the o rings.

Bennetts installation instructions show the o ring going in the upper grove of the piston #5 on the diagram. My o ring currently is in the lower groove.

Does anyone know which is correct?

Never mind, I found it later in the instructions. It is supposed to be ob the upper ring. Looks like that might have been the problem.
