Bilge fire extinguisher

I just bought a new extinguisher as mine was depleted due to age leak down. The new one is quite a bit bigger than the old Halon one. It doesn't fit in the space where the old one was mounted. (too tall)
Can this be mounted on an angle, or does it have to be vertical? If I can't angle it, I have to relocate the fresh water pump to get the space I need. Big PITA! No room to work in there.

Hard to say without knowing exactly what you bought, but as a rule they can be mounted horizontally.
The installation instructions will tell you all the mounting requirements.

Sea-Fire. After re-reading the description, they say it can be mounted horizontally.
