Has anyone else confirmed these times for closure to enter the Severn. Seems awfully early to close access. Anyone have other information?

"The U.S. Coast Guard will establish a temporary regulated area May 23 and 24, in designated waters in the Severn River and College Creek for the Blue Angels air show. River closures will be from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday. During this time, vessels will not be permitted to travel through the flight box.

The regulated area will be in effect from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday, which may limit or prohibit navigation by commercial and recreational waterway users. The regulated area will include the Severn River north of the Severn River Bridge from shore to shore, and south from Luce Creek to Greenbury Point.

Buoys marking the boundary zone for Coast Guard safety and enforcement patrol operations will be set by 9:30 a.m."

That's how they do it every year. I was on the Severn River for the rehearsal yesterday. The Blue Angels were done practicing by about 2:40 and the USCG and MD Natural Resources Police went around and told everybody they were going to reopen the river by 3:00. There was a thread discussing this a month ago and I posted some information: http://clubsearay.com/showthread.php/82783-Blue-Angels-2017 In past years the USCG made a press release on coastguardnews.com announcing the temporary regulated area, but for some reason they did not this year.

Thanks for this info - This had been the first year for me that I came in from Bayside. I had always been in the Severn to begin with.
