A search to see if the owner is a CSR member turned up nothing bit it appears the boat is for sale.

I ran into the owners son yesterday, and he said his Dad and a couple of friends left Chicago and someone forgot to stow the shore power cord. When they came off plane it got tangled in at least one of the props. The boat ended up 3/4 or more under water, and is considered a total loss.

I was thinking the same thing. "Remember to press that button on the cablemaster, or you'll sink and destroy a $700,000 yacht..." (and risk your lives)

Heard it was not working was the reason the cables were on the platform.
