Brunswick stops boat and motor production temporarily

    Not surprising. Big 3 auto production is down 33% this week. California realtors can't show homes. Restaurants, bars, clubs, salons all closed in most areas.

    Seems only FL's beaches are "Biz as usual".

    I noticed in the official Brunswick release they mentioned stopping it at "certain" boat and propulsion operations. I have to wonder if that includes the SeaRays and Mercury's built in Mexico or just the USA?

    They shut Atwood down over a week ago. One of the first bigish companies in Michigan to shutter from what I could tell. At the time I wondered if they saw weakness in their upcoming period and perhaps used this as an excuse to cut capacity. But now...many more are jumping onboard.
