Calling all 360 DA owners

Does anyone happen to know the height of a 360DA from the bottom of the hull to the top of the arch? I have done a search online and can't located it. The sales brochure has all the specs except this.
This is from Post #10 on this thread for a 2003.

NOTE: All data recorded at sea level. Variations in loading, altitude, temperature, and sea conditions will affect performance and may result in lower speed and less range.

@Tripsdad thanks! Don't know why I didn't think to search the thread. Now I have to see if a shipper can do the oversized height of 12.58ft or if I have to have the arch removed.

It's in the owners manual; From the keel to the top of the arch (not including the light or anything on top of the arch): 10 foot 10.5 inches.

The waterline and keel values are reversed in above diagram, take a close look. Last month I trailered my 360 on a 4-axle trailer, to the top of arch it was 14' 2". Traveled UT, WY and Co with no issues but of course with Oversized permits.

HOW TO WIRE SATELLITE
Looking for suggestions where to locate the Satellite in motion KVA receiver and dish box on our 360. Any wiring suggestions would also be very helpful; if at the kitchen TV then I assume pulling the freezer out provides the access. Would also like to watch dish on aft TV, how is this wired? Long HDMI wire to that area....

I had my 360 shipped from St Clair Shores to South Haven about 5 years ago. They had to pull the radar antenna, settled her onto a lowboy trailer and pulled her across state with an oversize load permit. Arch stayed intact

Don't overlook the possibility of using an HDMI transmitter. Might end up being easier/cheaper than pulling HDMI from the receiver to other locations.

Thanks to all for the info and for making me feel lazy/dumb by not checking my owners manual first. Glad to hear the Arch can stay. I assumed I would need to pull Radar, TV and GPS antenna, but all of those are easy. Did you wrap for the trip?

We will be moving from Panama City Beach to Jacksonville so just a couple hundred mile trip. We considered doing the trip via the cross Florida waterway, but due to Hurricane Michael and a bunch of other issues we have not had the opportunity to do anything other than day trips since we bought our 360 so our comfort level is not there to jump right into a week or longer cruise.

When i bought my 380, i just cleared the arch off. Used blue painters tape on the forward side to make bug clean up easy. Took 60-90 minutes to remove it and mark all of the wires, and about the same to re-install. on the trailer my 380 measured 14'5" from the ground to the top of the arch iirc

it was from loto to lake shelbyville, which i am guessing to be 350 miles, and through downtown stlouis mo

good luck, i really love the 360's

That's funny, you are correct. I didn't even notice it!!! It did seem a little taller last time I changed the anchor light bulb!

Does anyone know the dimensions of the arc landing pad. This is the raised square area in the center of the arch where I want to mount my KVA dish. Pretty sure it is larger than 6" x 6", my light is currently mounted there so will need to move it. Wish I were closer to my marina so I could measure but not the case....

Thanks, good tip. If I don't wrap the entire boat I may just wrap the arch. U-Haul sells stretch wrap on rolls that would be easy to wrap the arch.

Mine is 6" x 6".

Generator and air conditioning question... when plugged into shore power I have no issues with my AC unit or anything else for that matter. however, when trying to run the ac while on the generator, I get the low power warning on the readout. I proceed to shut everything else off at the electrical panel and try again. Same issue. If I increase the temp a few degrees at the control panel, the ac will start with the fan blowing and then will eventually kick on. But it does struggle. The volts go below 100 and you can hear it struggle to run. Thoughts or suggestions? Thanks in advance.

I shut off the breaker for both AC and water heater until the generator is running smoothly. You can only run one or the other. The other limitation is the microwave. If you try to use the microwave at the same time it will blow breakers. The generator has its limits

Tell me about your gen set, brand, hours, last oil change and last time you changed the plugs and the impeller. Is gen set 7.3kw?
Quick best practices for running your generator:
  1. Start generator watch for good water flow; with blower on
  2. All breakers off - warm up gen for 4 min
  3. Move from shore power to gen breaker power (look at panel 120 volts should display)
  4. Turn on you AC and run this only with door closed; turn on other small breakers such as battery charger, frig will auto run on gen set. If you run A/C and the Water heater your generator will really lug down and could pop a breaker but the 7.3kw should be able to do this work.
To turn off Gen Set:
  1. Turn off breakers and let generator run for 4 minutes
  2. After cool down kill power to gen set ; then turn off the blower
  3. Do not just shut down the generator with a load connected, this is very hard on the generator.

Thanks!!

Oil, filter, fuel filter changed last fall.
Impeller changed last spring.
I wait for good water flow from the exhaust.
I have not let it run for 4 full minutes. 2 max maybe.
I only have the battery charger, and ac running. Aside from fridge freezer which always stay on
When generator is running with no load, bolts are 120 and hold steady. As I turn the smaller items on, it stays steady as well. I do not run the hot water while on generator.
Only when I turn the ac on - with it without the other items, does it big down and I get the low power warning. note that I tried this two weeks ago at the dock, and no issues. This happened once late last summer.
does the charger really draw that much? I will try this weekend. Thanks for the input.

My last boat had a Westerbeak so this is a long shot, if the starting battery is weak the generator had weird issues. Are the batteries very old?
