There are other threads here on winter covers o no need to cover the same ground. I would like to hear from any owners who have used bridge only covers for winter. Pics would be great.
We dont get much snow and short winter days have the sun at a very low angle anyway so the higher cost and effort of full covers for 4 or 5 months may not be totaly necessary for us. Have seen other brand sedan bridges with bridge only covers and they have great access to the boat all year.

No experience with bridge only covers but I suppose it would be all right if the cockpit drains don't get plugged with leaves and dirt, but not something I would do. Also, as I'm sure you know, these boats don't have garboard drain plugs, so any water that finds it's way into the bilge stays there unless there is battery power to the pumps and it doesn't freeze, and the float switch doesn't hang up because it's got a little ice on it. Your boat and your call, but I'd wrap the whole thing.

Bigger upfront cost but if you plan on keeping the boat for any length of time it might be worth checking out Fisher Canvas

I had one for my old boat (not a bridge) and it paid for itself in just a couple seasons. They could work with you to create one that only covers critical places, maybe multiple pieces.

I hated the idea of all that plastic and cost every year. I’ll be getting one for our new boat as wel

Am
Gary, thsnks for the pics. Very similar to what I was thinking about although we don't have the hardtop. Who made it for you?
AMC canvas in Copiague NY made the winter covers for us. They are thick vinyl. A local canvas shop should be able to make you something that would work well for your boat.
We are going to be using them for the seventh season this coming winter. They paid for themselves after about two seasons. We have had zero issues even with blizzards.
