Cameo with Captain Lee of Below Deck

If you've ever watched the show called "Below Deck" on Bravo, you'll appreciate this. I find the show humorous and a nice winter boating-related escape. I especially like Captain Lee Rosbach, as he's a salty old sea dog, with a lot of funny expressions - he's also from Michigan.

My wife and daughters bought a Cameo of Captain Lee for me for Christmas. Normally these things are about 15 seconds long, but Captain Lee goes on for about 4 minutes.

Very cool... Ran into him a couple times on las Olas resturants with his wife. Nice guy. Do you know the back story on him? He was never cast to be the "captian"? He was the real captian of the first boat on season 1 and was in the background. Until the producer found he had more personality than the fake one they casted so the signed him up... they rest is history.

Didn't know that. I do remember the first captain they had was nowhere near as colorful as Lee.

That’s a cool story. I didn’t know that’s how he got the job. My friend and his wife met Captain Lee at Flibs a few years ago and said he was just as colorful in person.
