My 2006 SeaRay 320 center vent window stopped working. I can not seem to find a circut breaker that operates this window. Anyone have an idea as to where the circut breaker is located or if it might be some other problem? Thanks for you input.

Bob you might move this thread to the General Discussion area or under Sport Cruisers. I think there's a dedicated 320 thread, too.

I experience the same problem with mine. Ultimately I end up pushing the window open while my wife operates the switch, or pulling it if it opens a bit and stops. This just started and I haven't really investigated it much. I did use some 3-1 oil on the arm and that seemed to help but it faces the sun in Florida and I don't think it lasts very long. Once it opens I exercise several times throughout the day. The problem then it will sit 4 weeks without being operated.

I read somewhere on here that the shaft needs to be lubricated very well. I guess PB Blaster should do the trick.

Bruce you are a wealth of knowledge. I'd never heard of PB Blaster. Looked it up and it sounds like just what I need to free an A/C seawater intake filter on my fishing boat. Thanks!

Naw Frank, just a Humble Servant, but thanks for the Kind words!!!
I used on my discharge seacock and it worked great...

We learned to keep the shaft greased and make sure we don't open it fully otherwise it sticks open. We had to buy a new motor for ours recently and the OEM one was nearly $260! We bought one in from a company in Canada (that the Captain says is better than the original OEM) for just over $100!

Any chance that you can post a link?

You can buy PB Blaster from just about any automotive store...

I first heard of PB Blaster from the PO of my boat. The pole for the cockpit taple was stuck in the floor socket and he recommended it to me. Good stuff and I got it right at Home Depot.

My windshield vent stops working now and then, but it is due to a electrical connection that sometimes needs to be cleaned. It's the plug connection leading to the motor. Just a little corrosion and it won't work.

I should have kept my mouth shut, mine just went out completely, all I get is clicking sounds with no movement. it's been stuck in the open position :smt009

I just took it apart and all works manually. I closed it by hand and then hooked to a cordless drill battery and it works. Looking at the connections, they DO look a little corroded. I'm gonna get a emory board and cut it to size and hit the connections a little and hook it back up and see what she does...:smt024

I have a 2009 43 Sundancer and the port vent window won't close. I suspect the actuator is bad, but not sure how to access it. Do I have to remove the seal around the cover plate to gain access? After removing the seal, will the access plate just lift up?
