Challenging getting the dink in the water in SoFlo

Well dingy has been out since last years hurricane season. Then bought a new boat so the focuse was on that. When the shit hit the fan on COVID I thought well I am stuck home might as well get the dink from the side of the house and have her tunned up and get her in the water. The tune up took longer than expected... boats always need more than you think. By the time I got her done Miami and Broward closed all the launch ramps....my luck. Was over at my diesel mechanics shop last week and saw he has a private little ramp out back... he said yes but early morning under cover...lol So finally got her in today and motored a couple of miles to my slip. Looking forward to going canal cruising tomorrow...

We sold our 2010 Whaler to some friends from the club who had been pestering us to do this for a while. Now we're going to make a trip down to AZ to bring home our 1981 Whaler. Both are 13', the newer one is a 4 stroke, the older a 2 stroke, both 40hp. The older one is quite a bit faster than the newer one because she's lighter, but she does ride as bit harsher.

Can't wait to get her home and start running up and down the river with her.
