Children on the Bow

We grew up riding the Bow of our IMP Inca 23 back in the 70’s. With legs dangling over the side and all. Just like we didn’t have seatbelts in our cars and we all lived. Of course back then there was probably 1/10th the traffic on the lake and roads as there is today. Now we know better……
And, I'd venture a guess that the drivers then weren't the idiots that we see now-a-days. Percentage-wise, it might not be any different, but there's just that many more people in any square mile.

OMG, whaaaaat??? You are a very responsible person and you did the right thing, but your opinion may not always be shared here. Know that I support you and would do the same if I were in your shoes. I have been working with children for a long time and often we are approached by people asking us to find something to do with a child or find someone to give them proper care. And we usually instruct such workers at fosterplus.org, and we don't have any such cases. Surely the parents were unaware of this attitude towards children, or the boat captain just doesn't want to take care of other people's children, relying on the carelessness of the parents
