Clarion antenna location on 2003 260DA

Hey everyone,

I own a 260DA an I bought an 12V FM transmitter in order to connect my phone with spotify and bluetooth to the FM transmitter to then pick up the FM signal with the Clarion 6 CD changer radio that is in the boat. In my car it works like a charme, but when I plug it in in the boat, the reception on the Clarion is really poo poo. Is there any experience in this? and... where is the antenna located? My boat has one of them fixed radar/bimini arches. is the antenna in there? or any other tips?

There's no "special" antenna. The antennas are typically just a thin, black electrical wire that's plugged into the back of the head unit and then the wire - which is maybe a couple feet long - is just stretched out within the wiring harness. Pull the head unit - you should see it.

Does your Clarion have an Aux. input? Much better quality than an FM modulator. If you have the aux, you plug directly from your phone or you can buy a Bluetooth to Aux adapter and be wireless.
