The manufacturer does designate it as suitable for Hypalon (https://boatcleanerpro.com/) and it does work. I have used it personally and sold it locally for a couple years now.

Almost looks to good to be true. Will have to try that.

Works great on power cords and fenders too! I have stock if needed and you can not find local. PM me.

If I were still in Stony Brook, I'd stop by, but a long trip otherwise. Unless you are shipping as well?

Kevin, presumably rubber gloves should be worn when applying it? That is pretty caustic stuff to be bare-handing like in the video.

I will not argue with taking all necessary precautions and would certainly recommend gloves. However, I have used it to clean items without using gloves without ill effect - YMMV. In fact, the manufacturers video shows it being used without gloves.

I ordered a can to try out on my Achilles dinghy. Very fast shipping to my door in only 3 days. I normally use a white eraser, but the white rub rails never seem to get clean. I’m hoping this stuff does the trick!

As advertised, the Boat Cleaner Pro is amazing. I thought I was going to need to scrub my dinghy with it. The soot and grime just wiped off. I like when it’s an easy task! :D:D

Yep, just keep the rag wet and it works great. Try on power cords next.

I did not see your post before today, but I read the label on the can yesterday and saw that it could be used on “Dirty Shore Power Cords” and gave it a try. OMG! I was so excited after the first two feet that I called my slip neighbor over to show off the miracle!

We spent the weekend Catalina on a mooring right next to the shore. I took this picture and later realized my Achilles dinghy in the foreground is similar to the Achilles dinghy on shore. Can you tell which one was cleaned with Boat Cleaner Pro? :)

So I recently started to clean my dinghy with the Boat Cleaner Pro and realized the surface of the hypalon was getting sticky. Then I looked at the ingredients and saw it is Toluene based. I am not sure I want to clean my new dinghy with Toluene. It does work great and definitely cleans the surface very well, but it also takes a slight bit of the hypalon off along with the dirt. Not sure this is the product I am going to stick with for this.

I finally bought this and I haven't had time for my dinghy but I did get my white power cable done. It's wipe on and move on, no stress...

I found similar results after getting the BCP and doing a test spot on a very clean but stained Hypalon dinghy. My thoughts were, it works great, don't be too aggressive with scrubbing, but at the same time, get it done right/completely the first time then sealed/protected as to never have to use it again.

That was my conclusion as well. The issue is, I have old 2 cycle Detroit Diesels that produce a small amount of soot no matter what. And that has to be cleaned off a few times a season. Not sure how prolonged use will be and if that does anything to the 10yr warranty. But this stuff definitely does work as it claims too though.

I agree with the issue of the hypalon getting sticky. I think that I have to clean the dinghy even more because the diesel soot sticks to it.
