Thanks for the info. I ordered a new board earlier this week and it should be here in 5 to 7 days. May take the old one to the repair center you referenced, and have them take a look From our lake house on Allatoona, it's less than an 1-1/2 hours to Chattanooga. Made more than a few trips to both Erwin and the old MarineMax back when we were looking for a 340.
My bet is that the fuse will be blown and the rectifier on that board will be bad. Don't replace the fuse with a new one as all you will do is blow out another fuse. Put a meter on the fuse and confirm no continuity. Then desolder the rectifier and do a test to see of all the legs check out. youtube will show you how to do this. The numbers on the rectifier will tell you what you need to order.
Alternatively, you should be able to take the dc lines and the ac lines off that PS board and into an MPS35 or 50 assuming the output voltages are the same. The specs for the fridge will tell you that required DC voltage.
Just an update in case anyone is having a similar issue. Board was ordered on 05/29/18, but is still on backorder (as of today), due to some part(s) being unavailable. Hindsight being 20/20, I probably should have pulled the board when I had this thing apart and gone to an electronics repair store, assuming they could identify and get the part(s) needed. Since we used this refrigerator for cans of soft drinks, a cooler has filled the gap.
Well, got an email from the distributor saying that the expected delivery on the A/C Power Board to the U.S. is now scheduled for October, and there are about 20 of us waiting for this part. While this is not a "mission critical" part that keeps us from boating, it is a little aggravating.
Ok 2002 340, got to bost today and fridge is hot... AC side does nothing green LED on front is on but no noises... flip DC breaker and sounds like it comes alive but was not there Long enough to test... sounds like same issue? How much is that board?
Board was a little over $250 when ordered back in the end of May.
We put this replacement in my brother-in-laws 320 last spring. Had to do a little cosmetic trim work, but was an overall easy project and it works great.
Where was board purchased and do you have a part number?
Ordered from thenorcoldguy.com P/N 169000500
Well finally! Board received a couple of weeks ago, and replaced the old one with no problems.
