We are selling our 1995 Sea Ray 230 Sundancer

It is one of the most trailerable cabin cruiser with a dry weight of only 4,300 lbs

She has been completely redone inside and out. We get nothing but compliments everywhere we go. People can’t believe that she is 22 years old.

She has a Mercruiser 5.0L with Alpha I drive and stainless steel prop and a full transom service done 2 years ago.

She runs strong and planes out quickly and at virtually any speed with the Smart Tabs.

With the Smart Tabs set at the middle position, she will run about 37.5 mph and just over 41 mph with the Smart Tabs set at the lightest position.

She cruises nicely around 30 mph at 3600 rpm burning just over 8 gph.

We have invested over $7,000 in upgrades and improvements this year.

The exterior has been restriped and updated with modern decals/logos.

-all new complete canvas package with convertible top framework, convertible top (with custom zipper roll up isinglass windows) and boot, convertible top side curtains, camper top framework, camper top and boot, camper top side curtains, camper top aft curtain and cockpit cover

-48” deep swim platform (yes 48” deep) with dual stainless steel telescoping ladders

-platform mounted storage box (for the grill, dock lines, power cords, etc.)

-Magma grill, mount, post and case

-Zodiac plow anchor, chain, rode, anchor roller, pin, clamp and pipe

The interior has been completely redone with new carpeting, woven vinyl flooring covers, upholstery, fridge, cabinet, countertop, doors, table, custom cut 2” memory foam mattress topper (for the mid cabin), fire extinguisher, CO2 detector/alarm and LED bulbs

We have also added a 20 amp dual bank removable (so it can be used for winter battery storage) smart charger, new starter battery and two (2) new house batteries and replaced the bilge pump

She has power steering, hydraulic trim tabs, pressurized water system, pump-out head, halon system, dual battery switch, alcohol stove, shore power, cockpit table, sun pad filler cushion, hatch cover, bimini top and boat cover.

Well, she’s sold. Kinda sad after all the work we put into her.
Now it’s time to start looking for a bigger one.

I had one in Blue with a 5.7 Alpha. I loved that boat and trailered it all over from the great lakes to North Carolina. Congrats on the sale and good luck finding your next boat!
