I notice my countertop on 500 when the light hits it is t as glossy as it should be. It has fine scratches in it. I am not sure what the material is. Maybe some sort of fiberglass or Formica or just a plastic. has anybody successfully remedied this problem and how?
Should I treat it like gel coat and use a polish?

Searay uses acrylic's like Corian. There are many articles you can google to restore the finish!

No idea if it will work on counter top; but I clean the haze and dull finish off my headlights with tooth past. Take some time but works. I use an almost dry cloth and rub the tooth past in random directions.
