This spring I replaced my E120 MFD with a gs165. I wired it to my NMEA 0183 data buss and am able to get GPS data but not Depth info from the original Transducer. The buss supplies data to the Smartcraft Vessel View which does display GPS and Depth data. It seems that for some reason I can either get both DEPTH and GPS on one or the other but cant get both on both. The gs165 has two NMEA ports now I have GPS on port two but if I try to wire port one to the bus for the depth it not only wont show depth on the gs165, it knocks the Vessel View Depth data out. Anyone have any idea what I'm doing wrong? (other than trying to do my own install
) The Depth data comes thru an E3500 NMEA 0183/Seatalk interface before the data buss.
