Nurses are a different breed.... They are right on the front lines for sure and don't bat an eye.... you have to admire their effort.

The problem is this is not a situation that we can say crap we made a mistake shut the country back down again. We are probally only going to get one chance at this and it has to be right. I agree we need to find a balance some how.

You do realize that flattening the curve only prolongs the spread of the virus so we don’t overwhelm the medical system. We have accomplished that. Now we have to control and isolate the spread. We are going to have spikes. More people will get infected.

Governer Waltzing Matilda also said 40-80% of Minnesotans would contract Covid-19....that’s 2-4 million people. I just don’t see it!

I’m convinced I already got it mid-February and then the rest of my family afterward. Lasted for about 4 weeks and I had all of the symptoms described.

Yes, chances are we MN’s will get it or have already gotten it. Looks like the Gov solution is to prolong it and shut down the economy until the beginning of Summer with his dumb modeling.

Professor Knut Wikkowsi’s interview that someone posted awhile back makes the most sense to me. I’ll repost. Although he does use China numbers it sounds like.

Both of my daughters are pretty hardened and go with the flow... Like the other day the hospital was handing out sunglasses because they ran out of face shields...they just don't sweat it. They don't get wound up in politics or management....though I did say to my Indy daughter the other day...I think she might be a closet democrat....she got upset so that made me feel better … Both say Corona sees color... They can tell instantly when a patient comes in whether Corona is going to like them or not... it's all about your underlying conditions... Both say it's getting better.... Nurses and Techs are a different breed.... They are right on the front lines for sure and don't bat an eye.... you have to admire their effort.

This is the only pragmatic explanation I have seen . The guy is dry but what he says makes sense.
