After my boat is warmed i start to throttle up and there is a long delay in response from the engine. If I add too much throttle it stalls. When the boat is moving the throttle response is fine. This happens anytime I start the boat, leaving slip or after anchoring.

I’m guessing this is a carbureted 5.0 you have. Slight bogging is a normal response if you pin the throttle getting on plane. Try a steady slower movement of the controls and see if it still bogs down.
