Hello all,

I used the search feature for the forum and did not find anything to answer my question. Recently I purchased a used 1996 270 Sundancer and have found the USCG Capacity plate on it completely faded and illegible. Does anyone know if there is a source to get proper replacements for this plate specific to year and model anywhere out there? The internet searches that I have performed have so far come up with nothing.

Flounder Pounder Marine has some that may work for you....

Are you sure it's a capacity plate you're looking at? I would have guessed a 270 would simply have the "I am a certified yacht" plate.

Yep, probably looks like this.

Currently the plate that is mounted to the starboard side of the gangway is a faded and illegible, pretty much a blank piece of aluminum. I assumed it came with a capacity plate but it very likely could be the yacht certification instead.
