i was referred by an out of work SRO moderator!

 

Does anyone here know how to get the two Franks over here to see if they'd like to stay? Those guys were just the best !!

Hey guys, I made it over here too. I was also sent over by out of work SRO moderator. Man, I had rung up enough posts to get the newbie title removed at the other place and now I get to start over.

This is cool though. It is like going away on vacation and meeting up with friends in a different city. Looks like we have been invited to make ourselves at home.

 

A lot of the SRO will probably find this site by doing a search. It is good to see that there is another gracious host.

 

Midway here, that out of work moderator guided me here also. :lol:

 

Just dropping in also..Hello to all..I noticed a "bunch" of new registrations in the memberlist as of yesterday.....many from the SRO....we'll have to get used to a few new usernames....

Hello All, I swam over as well. I too have wondered about the "Franks". I have noticed they have not posted anything on the shutdown.

 

It was so much easier when I had only one forum to keep up with! I'm hoping many of the former members can, at some point in the future, settle in one place. Glad to be here.

 

It would be nice if Jeremy "280 SeaRay" the founder of SRO to add a blurb about Club Sea Ray to his shut down page. Or maybe if some of you know him you could ask for his email list of members.

 

Terri Parrow a BoatUS admin. over at the BoatUS forum has posted in a related thread that she talked to Jeremy and his reason for shutting SRO down.

Maybe you can get her to relay the message to him.

 

one of the moderators told me that the rumor stating Brunswick might have had a hand in shutting down SRO is NOT TRUE. he wouldnt comment on the actual reason(s) but he asked me to "squash that rumor."

anyway, glad to be here and thank you to the owner of the board here for absorbing all us refugees!

 

Another transplant from SRO here. Looking forward to some new friends and some of the old gang. I also use the same ID on boatered, boatUS and THT.

Hello again, I checked in the other day but thought I'd say Hello to everone who has signed in since. Several have asked about FrankW, he has been here in P.C. Fl. but is leaving his dirty dull boat ( :lol: , I can say that because he has no access to a computer) and should be back online soon. Someone actually tracked him down via the phone book this a.m. at 7:30 to ask him a question that just couldn't wait :lol: . He said his box is probably to full to accept any more mail. SO... that's where FrankW is. It's good to see you guys...

Thanks again Jim, who has been kind enough to let us hang out untill we see what's up. The tone sure is nicer here than some other places I have read.
