I purchased a 1998 180BR 3.0L in February, I started it up the other day after an impeller change for the first time since I bought it. It started right up and idled as it should. After it was warm I gave it gradual throttle and it stumbled and stalled. I tried a few more times and each time I gradually engaged the throttle it would stumble and stall. I found if I quickly feed it throttle it would stumble for a second then climb into the RPM normally. I changed the plugs, dist cap, and rotor. The previous owner advised me they put fuel stabilizer in prior when they winterized it. The previous owner stated only used the boat about 10hrs each year since new. I cleaned the fuel inlet filter at the carb, check and the accel pump shoots out two streams of fuel when pumped quick, it would dribble out when throttle was depressed slow. Not sure if this is a carb issue or something else. I ordered a new fuel filter for the fuel pump. Not sure if bad fuel is a possibility, also checked the anti siphon is working correctly. Any suggestions?
