Everyone out of the water?

Reading this thread - realizing how much I like Florida in the winter.

Couple of years ago, dropped a tender tie down off the side of the swim platform - no prob. Got my mask, swim suit - slid down between the slip, below the boat, picked up the piece.

This was first week of January. Water was comfortable.

I fell off the swim platform last February in Daytona Beach I was amazed at how warm the water was in The Halifax River I leave the cold, damp, dark, English weather for Florida from mid January to Mid April. Sun went down at 15 bells today won’t get light till 9:45 am. Hibernation time on this side of the herring pond. If I have to scrape my windshield I’m not happy! We measure the sunlight in minutes over here. A real bummer.
