After 1.5 years since purchase and delays with engine parts and covid crap, the boat is finally at my home marina from Rock Hall. Did a sea trail with the mechanic yesterday and made the 24 mile trip solo from Rock Hall to Middle River

According to Argo it’s 18.8 to the head of the river. You must’ve been playing out there.

Close. I remember when they built that marina. We were all talking how they put it out in the middle of Frog Mortar.
We were very surprised they got permits for it. It’s a nice marina.

Geesh, I'd need a portajohn half way out to the ends of those docks. ;):(

You would think that it be better to dredge and build closer to shore but permits on the upper bay are either impossible to get or just weird.
Had a friend bought water property to build a house. Nope, can’t remove the old house, so he literally gutted the shack, removed roof, kept the 4 walls, built new house around it. First floor walls are double thick, ya Maryland.

cant tell the details of the route from this plot, but it appear to come out of Rock Hall and head due west. There’s a huge area of shallow water there most Sea Rays should navigate easily... unless there’s anything on the floor of the Bay. A wreck, a tree, anything that might add a few feet could easily ding a prop or bend a shaft. Given how much large crap end up in the Bay every summer when the Dam gets opened after flood rains, I’m wary of going over shallows with only a couple of feet to spare. I highly recommend heading south out of Rock Hall and turning west after green #1 marker.
