Hello Everyone,

After looking for the last year for just the right Express Cruiser, I have finally taken the plunge and purchased a 1985 390 EC. Her Crusaders were both rebuilt back in '05 and the full cockpit canvas and upholstery were all redone ~ 4 years ago. She came from the factory with Crusair, Westerbeke genset and ice maker- all functioning as they should.

She's a bit more boat than I had planned on, but she has been well maintained and I love her lines and spaciousness, and she ran great on sea trial. There are a few minor mechanical/electrical things I know I'll need to address, but (hopefully) nothing major and nothing I can't do myself. Glad to finally own a boat with marine air that can also accommodate my 6'2" height down below and in the V berth. No more excuses to the wife about not sleeping over at the lake. She should be delivered late next week to be soon followed with some fall season cruising on Lake Hartwell, GA.

Looking forward to taking advantage of the wealth of info. on this site and the helpful input that the members here generously offer.
