Flow Scan installation Cost?

Looking at putting the Flow Scan 7000 model as a replacement for each tach. These models have a digital tach, hours meter, GPH, and total galans used. Has anyone had flow scan meters installed and what cost am I looking at to have them installed?

I have found them on the i nternet for $419.00 each.

Also Is there a problem with my engines being linked together for syncronized cruising?

I put them on mine. Other than running the wires for the sensors to the helm, the install wasn't too bad.

The only bad thing is you are always staring at your fuel consumption all day.

I was looking at flow scans at one time. I went to the Lowrance HDS unit instead. Seems to work well. Always with in a gallon every 50 gallons. Just a different option.

looks like there still in business to me. My boat now has flow scans. They do work better than Lowrance system.

I did the garmin ones last week. they talk to my garmin gps. kinda scary seeing wot combined 49.9 gph

Floscan announced they were shutting down in February of 2019. They have been in business for over 40 years but the writing has been on the wall since computers became part of the engine package. While Floscan focused on actual fuel flow and not algorithms.....their core business declined. As a private company....the decline has probably been happening for the past 10 years.

It is sad because they made the best product on the market for monitoring fuel flow on gas and diesel engines. I'll speculate that they were very late to the switching to digital displays and sharing data with other helm devices which did not help their cause.

Navman gone and now Floscan is gone. Hopefully Floscan parts will be available for a while.
