Hi All...we do A LOT of cruising over the summer boating season here in the Northeast. We've always taken our regular bikes with us and while they're excellent to have on our adventures they're a pain to load and unload on our 44 Sundancer. Also, when we're anchored out they're definitely in the way. We often end up putting them out on the swim platform bungied to the rail. I had an opportunity to ride a friend's folding electric bike and I've been doing tons of research about them. I'm zeroing in on a pair of Lectric XP's for about $ 900.00 apiece and want to know if anyone in the cruising community of CSR has any knowledge, thoughts, experiences??

So have you had some time on them to give us some feed back?

Battery died on an adventure and still pedaling back to the boat.
Honestly, interested as well.

lectricebikes.com....I bought two of the "lectric xp". Nice big battery for power and range, fat tires for all terrain, solid construction, folds for easy on/off the boat. NOT the lightest configuration at 63 lbs but the the features I've noted are important to me and worth it. Reviews/Youtube were phenomenal on this bike so I pulled the trigger and haven't looked back since.

Where do you store them?
I know I don't have the same boat as you, but just curious where you can place them.
