well, watching football on the boat.

Playoffs are on baby!

Watching ND and Clemson at the moment.

Our game is OU vs Alabama. There is an OU flag flying from the rear of the fly bridge.

I was thinking we would watch the game on the flybridge, Deb was very clear, she feels she needs to be in the salon (she is very vocal, sometimes she might make a sailor blush).

My nickname is footballfan, if she had a nickname it would be superfootballfan, she is more focused than I am.

Here we go...

Claim the bay!!!!

ND is going down for the count at the moment... Hoping for a closer game. BTW WVU fan so we are pulling for OU all the way!!!

ROLL TIDE!!!!!!!

Gotta respect a perineal # 1 ranked team who is undefeated.

Should be a good game. Tailgating in the cockpit, have to sit outside with the cigar. Grilled hot dogs and burgers...

Game time is approaching. 20 minutes.

We're watching from our lake house and just finished some bbq. Daughter graduated from Bama back in 2011.

Ok, end of first quarter.

Boat is in north Miami, we thought about going to the game, then decided we would watch on tv. Super fan just turned to me and said "so glad we did not go to the game".

Ugh

Just drove by WVU a couple hours ago. Picked up my sons camper in Buckhannon and headed up 79 back home with it

It certainly had the opportunity to be a closer game, but Bama will have to play better against Clemson.

UGA fan first, SEC fan second!!!

Started at noon with Florida ripping up UM. Then Clemson showed that ND did not belong.

....and then to cap the day off....

Roll tide!!!

Congrats Alabama - best team won....
I feel your pain! Im a Sooner alum (1976) and my wife graduated from OU Med in '83. Reading multiple articles about the massive frustration of continuing to get to the playoffs only to lose. Castiglione (AD) predicting massive changes during the off season. Surveying a 460DA this Thursday in Sarasota. Hope to close soon afterwards and will keep the boat there for the time being. We live in KC so will be part-timers in Florida. We should plan on getting together sometime and "vent" our OU frustrations while we enjoy our boats!

As do I Carter! I fully expect it to. Mike seems to have taken very good care of "Crew Quarters". However, having been through a few of these I know there can be a few unknowns. (or as Donald Rumsfield used to offer: "known unknowns"..)
Hope 2019 finds you and Susan well!

We have a 19" TV with a built in DVD player but no hookups for any channels. Dock neighbor has one of those flat antennas that look like a mouse pad that connects to his TV. He said he only gets a few channels but they are very clear. Planning to get one of those. Not sure if we would ever need to upgrade, at least on this boat. Maybe at some point if we move up to a bigger boat and spend more time on it. Currently our boat outings are only about 3-4 hours at a time. That's one thing I don't like about boating on the Ohio river. With all the commercial traffic you wouldn't want to overnight on the hook and you are limited as to where you can go unless you go through the locks. I would like to lock up to the point and tie up to the wall outside Heinz Field for the day. Maybe watch a Steeler game or Pirate game on the TV.
