I upgraded to the vesselview 7 last year, so I would like to sell my Systemview. This was out of my late model 03 340, but was warrantied out twice for fogging screen. The last warranty exchange was in 06 and the unit has what i believe is an 05 date stamp on it. This will include the dash panel for the late 03 - 08 340(if needed), the wiring harness to the J-box and the manual. $400 shipped

Is this something that would be of benefit to a 2009 270SLX with a 496 DTS setup?

I recently purchased a 2006 340 Sundancer with the SmartCraft Guages but not the Systemview option. By chance, would you know if this system is a plug and play for me or are there additional items needed to be up and running?

I am almost certain that it will work as plug and play. Your best bet would be to post the question on the forum. I am sure someone else on here could confirm it.

Thanks. I am very interested in purchasing the unit. Will you give me a couple of days to research? Also, does this unit have a color display?

No problem. The display on the Systemview is monochrome. For color, you would want to go with the VesselView 7 which is closer to the $2000 range.

I have a 2003 Searay 290 Amberjack with what looks like the same system you had. The only thing not working is the starboard gas gauge. I put a new fuel sending unit into my tank but the smartcraft is still not recognizing it. My mechanic says the fuel sending unit is functioning correctly but is not being recognized by the SC system. I went through the initialization process a few times but the unit doesn't recognize that starboard fuel connection. What I'd really like is to find a way to by-pass the connection and go directly to my dash fuel gauge... anyone have any suggestions ?

I had the same issue on my Smartcraft not reading the fuel gauge and others. It was just a setting on Smartcraft. Took about one minute to correct and worked perfect. I posted the procedures on another post before. I will try to find and repost for you.

Amberjack03 - Here is what I did to correct mine....

My starboard smartcraft fuel gauge and analog fuel gauge had same symptom. I had to go into menu settings and find "tanks" and make sure the tank was setup to read "fuel" as the option. The smartcraft fuel setting has a couple options as far as what to read and somehow it got set to read something other than "fuel". Once I changed it back to read "fuel" it all came back.. Good luck.
