Found this update on Watch Hill

NPS is reporting Watch will remain closed at least to Sept. 1, and that all the 23 "D" slips will be rewired to 50A 208v receptacles.

The entire watch hill renovation has me soo pissed off. When it reopens take very close attention to how much time and money was spent on the actual PARK SERVICE PROPERTIES ... vs the marina . The marina is being put back into 1960 condition. where the park service gets 2017 makeover. .... Total sham once again.

Not making wider slips to accommodate the boats that are coming . NOT bringing electric to the days slips. Not widening the day slips. EXACTLY as it was built back in the day ..... But again NPS building's get carte blanche just like across the bay....

Tell me about it, brother. The NPS should be embarrassed at how long they have allowed (encouraged, caused...pick your term) this to take. I understand the contractor is constantly waiting for the NPS inspectors to approve work, long after the town inspectors are done. Maybe we should FOIL all the records and file a class action lawsuit against the NPS and personally name the Park Superintendent in the suit. Oh and the grand total of TWO updates provided by the NPS in 7 months shows how transparent they've been.

Be nice if they installed an insect repellent system of some kind. Bugs are killer there.
