Can't wait!! Hopefully we have flat seas. There is nothing like being out in the ocean while these guys are buzzing directly overhead.

Ocean conditions looking questionable... Might have to watch from the ICW

Well... made it out today and dropped anchor at 11;30 just in time for show to start. Seas were 2-3 and NE wind at 15 kts. Probably 200 boats anchored up and weather was great not too hot. Typical air so some old and some new. I prefer the military new stuff, I like the noise and speed. Then the angels come at 2;15pm and the come with 4+1 but quickly the 1 has an issue and goes back to land. So the whole show was just the 4 just in a pattern... total BS no high speed fly bys... what a crappy show. They keep pushing the boats out further and further so you can't see the "filler" shows. The Red Bull helicopter was cool doing flips. Overall I would never complain about a day on the water but seas were rough and the Angels sucked.

We attempted to go in the ocean.. headed out from Lighthouse point inlet around 1130. Admiral sent the command order to turn back after about a half mile. Not calm enough for her to enjoy being anchored out. So we cruised the ICW down past Lloyd park. Was an absolute mad house by then. It should be illegal to rent a jet ski this weekend! Sunset lake was too packed to get into so we just stayed moving in the ICW down to Las Olas. Can't see much from there due to the beach high rises. Uturn back north, we were at Lloyd park for the Angels. We had some air show first timers on board, so it was worth it. Ride home was stressful as the lack of consideration by other boaters just boggles my mind. Super heavy traffic yet they think it's OK to speeding up on plane. All in all, not really worth it for me unless seas are flat and we can hook outside where I can relax.

I’ve never heard anyone say the angels sucked. Must have been really bad. So there wasn’t a sneak pass?

Yea

Yea air show day is like 4th of July and Memorial Day all amateurs out there I hate it. My air horn gets a work out but so does my belly with all the laughing. Watching all the little boats try to anchor in 45 ft of water with 15-20 knots of wind with 50 feet of rope is entertaining.

Yea seen

Seen plenty of great Blue shows and this one sucked. Bummer must be the new presidents cut backs… lol
