Bought last summer and ran great. With the exception of the gas gauge which I was able to fix with cleaning up the sending unit this spring.

This spring changed the fluids, and oil filter.

Boat has ran great until this last weekend.

As I never trust a boat gauge and since I just fixed the gauge I wanted to see what The levels where 3/4, 1/2, 1/4 to stay on the safe side.

1/2 filled on the gauge was right at 20 gallons used.
I pushed the gauge next time to about a 1/4. Filled up with 24 gallons
Next time I was just below 1/4 and boom boat shut down like it was out of gas. I filled it up and only got 21 gallons in before it started burping out. Boat has a 50 gallon tank. Checked to see if the vents and vent screen where clear and they where.

Boat pretty much ran as long as I didn’t go below half on the gas gauge or below 20 gallons used.
That came to an end on July 4th.

Turned the boat off and now it won’t start
Checked the fuel Pick up which was clean and intact. Plan on changing the anti-syphon valve. But don’t think that’s the issue as I was able to pull fuel consistently down 20 gallons why would it only pull 20 gallons. Fuel filter is next. Just curious on what else I should be looking at.

When was the last time you changed your fuel filter? With the ethanol in the gas you really need to change the fuel filter every spring. When the gas companies first switched to using ethanol in the gas I didn't change my fuel filter every year. It was never a problem with the non-ethanol gas. With the ethanol gas the fuel filter disintegrated and clogged things up. After that I started replacing my fuel filter every year and haven't had a problem since.

All fuel for the last year has been ethanol free boat gas from the lakes marinas. Didn’t change the fuel filter yet that’s the next step

If the filter doesn't do it don't rule out the fuel pump ! you can put a cap full of gas in the carb. and see if it fires off
