Fuse box located in engine compartment..

I bought a 1987 25ft Searay Sundancer and saw that there is a fuse box in the engine compartment. Two slots has fuses and about 4 slots empty. Can someone tell me what these fuses controls?

Sounds to me like it would be a fuse for the engine or maybe the batery charger. It has to be a fuse for a system in the engine room. Maybe a bilge pump. The obvious question is "Have you followed the wires back to see where they go?"
