Boat Info
1994 220 Signature Bowrider
Engines
5.7 Mercruiser
My fuel sending unit is bouncing my fuel gauge about 1/4 tank each way at times, so it's on the fritz.

That being said, I need to get a new one, but due to my oversight, the boat's been shrinked for the winter, and I never got around to figuring out the depth of the tank.

It's a 1994 220 Bowrider, and the tank information is in the picture. If someone knows the depth of this tank, great! If not, a project for the spring it is.

(Boat is 400 miles away, so getting products before travel is ideal)

Have you tried contacting the tank manufacturer? You have the model number, they may be able to give you that info from their records. I contacted the maker of our boat’s tanks this summer and got detailed dimensions.

Yes - I looked online, and they appear to be out of business unfortunately.

found this on another site referencing that manufacturer

Skyline Poly Fuel Tank Parts and Replacement Source
......I found the company that took over Skyline's molds and has parts. It is Smak Plastics in Vancouver, WA. 360-882-0410. Very helpful and affordable. I Hope this saves someone the hours it took me to find this info and gets them back on the water sooner.

Good luck in your search

I pulled my unit. Then I bought a Sierra sending unit on Amazon. I placed the old unit and new side by side. Then I sawed the Sierra unit down to the same length. I cut the float wire to the same length. The Sierra had additional hardware to do that. I put it back in the hole and lined up the screw holes and screwed her in. 5 screw mount.
