Any ideas on how to access the "gear lub monigtor 90 degree hose fitting" with release button. Located a the rear of the engine area next to the water inlet fitting? Monitor recovery bottle dry, lower unit full of oil.
why are you trying to locate this........... you need to pressure check the outdrive. you can wrap the lube resevoir hose with a towel and clamp it with vise grips than pressure check the drive while it is on the boat. lube has got to go somewhere.
is it a new boat? was it recently serviced?
