George Floyd

Please read post 465. It explains his day. The gun was from WI and never crossed state lines. Many people armed themselves from the imported “rioters“ who were destroying many local businesses who had absolutely nothing to do with the issue. The police were only protecting certain government buildings NOT local residents homes and businesses. President Trump has offered assistance which was refused by the Democratic Governor Tony Evers. Their are very limited circumstances were the president can send in help without the local authorities approval. Only after the shootings was assistance accepted and amazingly there was no more violence. In fact, a Kenosha local noticed several vehicles meeting in an empty lot and called police. The police and the US Marshalls started a surveillance of them, then intercepted them at a gas station where they were filling 5 gallon cans with gas. Vehicles were from Washington state and had fireworks, gas masks, bats, drugs and other stuff. Nine people were arrested.

My 400DB is located about a 15 minute drive from Kenosha. I have watching things very carefully!

It "allegedly" explains his day, as explained by his lawyer. It is his version of the truth. In this world of video on phones, the truth will come out.

But... I don't care what anyone says, if you go down to a protest with and AR-15, you are NOT there to peacefully protest. And a 17 year old kid has no business being part of an armed vigilante squad allegedly defending someones property. Vigilantism is illegal and so is murder. Would you pack up your AR-15 and head down to the protest tonight?

This is so very sad for America that it has come to this. And listening to Donald Trump, the President of the United States, in a press conference, quoting from Rittenhouse's lawyers self-defense argument, should be very troubling to anyone in the United States. He is doing F-all to calm the violence and, worse, he is condoning it.

BS, Trump isn't condoning it. He's been pushing the Mayors/Governors to control there areas, stop the violence. He offers federal help and gets nothing but lip and refusal. Don't blame the 'summer of love' on President Trump

There are some very detailed videos of everything out there. I'll wait until everything is in before I'll decide but of those things I've seen so far I'll say self defense. From the very beginning this kid was running away to avoid conflict. The first guy caught up to the kid and attacked him, he got shot. Some of the crowd, not necessarily well informed, then goes after him. He runs away again, while running someone comes up from behind and hits him in the head. A short while after he trips and falls.

At that point a guy comes flying through the air to deliver a foot stomp to the head. He barely lands back on the ground and the skateboard guy cocks back with the skateboard and takes a shot at the kids head. He grabs the barrel of the gun and tries to pull it away, he gets shot. That guy stumbles off and the next guy is rushing in with a pistol in his hand at the same time. He stops/hesitates, then continues, he gets shot in the arm.

A lot of emphasis by some on the kid bringing the gun across state lines. He didn't do that, but even if he did, why is that a 'thing'.

The three guys the kid shot are presented as angles by the media, but they aren't. They were there to get into some shit and did. Proof of that is they were attacking the kid instead of carrying protest signs down the sidewalk. The first guy is the most obvious, he got into 'I'm a badass' mode and took his shirt off. I know this guy, his type, met him a few times back in my drinking days. He was looking for trouble and he got it.

The kid should have stayed home....and so should have the rest that were 'mostly peacefully protesting' that night.

There are videos of the kid working earlier in the day cleaning up and removing spray paint from the previous day. The trouble started after he used a fire extinguisher on a burning dumpster in front of the gas station where the shooting started. There is a video of it. That’s when he became a target. Really sounds like he was trying to cause trouble. NOT!

Guy number one is on video being aggressive, getting into people’s faces, yelling “shoot me”. After the burning dumpster he chases the kid and gets shot.

One interesting possible side note. Guy number one took a bullet to his head supposedly from the AR at close range. Small hole, no exit wound. No one saw the shot just the result. Yet the last guy had his bicep blown off by the AR. At that range the AR Should have taken his head off. There is a theory that the first guy’s head shot cane from another rioter with a hand gun, maybe guy number 3, who was also following the kid.

According to the medical examiner...The medical examiner found that Rosenbaum was shot in the groin, back and left hand. The wounds fractured his pelvis and perforated his right lung and liver. He also suffered a superficial wound to his left thigh and a graze wound to his forehead.

Boy if that ain't an easy lesson to understand I don't know what is.;)

Peaceful people do not bring AR-15s to a protest. That is a “thing”. I do not condone violence at all, but if someone shows up at a protest with an AR-15 and starts yelling at the marchers, they are inciting a response. If it was a black kid that showed up at a pro-Trump rally with an AR-15 I would be saying exactly the same thing.

What kind of a gun is OK for peaceful people to bring to a protest? Maybe a little cute one like that peaceful protester had that got shot in the arm? I guess he'd really be classified, or reclassified, as 'mostly peaceful' because he got himself shot while attempting to shoot someone else, but you know what I mean.

Here's a 'thing'..... it's winging out terms like vigilantism, vigilante squad, murder before all the facts are in, it's a bit inciteful and of course that would be another 'thing'.

How about NOT bringing a gun to a protest?

Two people got killed by someone that brought an AR-15 to a protest ostensibly to help defend someone they did not know's property. That is the job of law enforcement. He is being charged with two counts of first degree murder. So I am not "throwing it out there" any more than the police are.

Miriam Webster:
Definition of vigilante
: a member of a volunteer committee organized to suppress and punish crime summarily (as when the processes of law are viewed as inadequate) broadly : a self-appointed doer of justice.

Anyway, you and I were not there, so we don't know what happened. The courts will determine what happened.

Exactly!

Based on his background of being a student cadet in police force and his wanting to support and emulate LEO, I think his motives were to be a good guy and stand watch. But remember he is a 17 year old kid. There are reasons there are minimum age laws for various things. I think what started out with good intentions went bad and the kid feared (maybe rightfully so) for his life and pulled the trigger to protect himself. I think he simply got in over his head... Sad situation however it comes out. He will have to live with the fact that he killed two people and seriously injured a third. His dream of being a LEO is over no matter how the legal issue goes.

Dude, in case you haven't noticed it wasn't a fkg protest. It was a riot. People lost their livelihoods. The ahole governor and mayor would not allow federal help. If the government can't protect it's citizens, the citizens will protect themselves.

The case is clearly self defense. No Kenosha jury will be convicting the kids of murder.

And. Let me ask you this. They guy that took one in the arm. He was a felon with a gun. What charges is he facing?

I expect that the felon with a gun will be charged with a weapon offence if he is guilty of one. That kid took an AR-15 down to a riot and then shot two people. He deliberately went to the wrong place at the wrong time and killed two people. He is not an innocent kid sitting at home eating popcorn. He took an assault rifle down to a riot zone. He did not get shot, he killed two people.

Listen folks, you can't shoot your way out of this. If you let this turn into a war on the streets, the winners will not be the ones with the best political position for America. The winners will be the ones with the most guns or that can shoot the best. There are no winners in that.

Anthony Huber, 26, of Silver Lake
Friends described Huber as a happy and laid-back guy who loved to skateboard.
"He was always a really sweet person. Always had a smile on his face," said Max Seebeck, who grew up skateboarding with Huber in Kenosha.
Tim Kramer, 26, said he had known Huber since they were students at Lincoln Middle School in Kenosha.
"He was always really friendly. He got along with everybody. He was a class-clown-type of guy. He loved skateboarding. It's been a big part of his life."
Kramer said he had not seen Huber in recent years but remembered him as having a gentle nature.
"I heard he was trying to save somebody from being shot," said Seebeck.
The criminal complaint against Rittenhouse says Huber approached Rittenhouse, who was on the ground after firing two shots at a person, which both missed. Huber had a skateboard in his right hand and reached for the teen's gun with his other hand.
Rittenhouse fired one round, hitting Huber in the chest. Huber staggered a few steps and then collapsed.
Fellow skateboarders gathered at a Kenosha skate park in his honor Wednesday, but they declined to speak for this article.
At least three Gofundme pages were launched to collect donations to help his family.
According to one page, Huber is survived by his longtime girlfriend and her daughter. The page had raised more than $14,000 by Wednesday afternoon.

Joseph Rosenbaum, 36, of Kenosha
According to social media posts from friends and family, Rosenbaum is a Texas native. He moved to Kenosha within the last year.
The criminal complaint says Rosenbaum was unarmed. A witness told police Rosenbaum tried to grab Rittenhouse's gun after following Rittenhouse to a parking lot. He was shot multiple times.
He leaves behind a fiancée and a young daughter.
"May you forever be with the angels and rest easy bro. I love you!" his sister wrote on Facebook.
A friend created a GoFundMe page to help his fiancée pay for burial costs.

Gaige Grosskreutz, 26, of West Allis

Grosskreutz was shot in the arm and is expected to survive.
Grosskreutz was in Kenosha on Tuesday with the Milwaukee-based social justice group the People's Revolution Movement, spokeswoman Bethany Crevensten said.
She said Grosskreutz was recuperating in a local hospital and was not available to speak.
She said the entire group of about 25 protesters was attacked Tuesday. She said their vehicles' tires were slashed and Kenosha officials towed them, so owners were left stranded in the city.
A friend created a GoFundMe page to raise money for his recovery.
Grosskreutz is a senior at Northland College in Ashland and has an anticipated graduation date of December 2020, according to the registrar’s office at the college.
He previously worked as a special events coordinator, wilderness medical instructor and sea kayak guide at Lost Creek Adventures in Cornucopia, according to an online LinkedIn profile.
A woman who answered the phone at Lost Creek on Thursday confirmed that Grosskreutz had worked at the business, a full-service paddling outfitter that also offers courses in outdoor skills, wilderness survival and traditional crafts.

I'm curious why you posted this?

Me too...weird
Maybe he was just wanting everyone to know how great these guys were. That they were only there to speak out in defense of the black folks of America, to partner with them in their fight against white oppression....you know, because their hearts are full of love, goodness, and respect for all human beings.

But I wonder, take Joseph Rosenbaum for example. Since he has been an adult he has shown nothing but the lack of respect for rules, laws, authority, and other people. You see, this dude demonstrated that by getting thrown in the slammer. You'd think while in the hoosegow he'd put his best foot forward and be nice, but NO. For many of those years he was classified as Maximum Risk, Highest Internal Risk, this was him.... Maximum Custody - Inmates who represent the highest risk to the public and staff and require housing in a single cell setting. These inmates have limited work opportunities within the secure perimeter and require frequent monitoring. These inmates require escorted movement in full restraints within the institution.

It appears by his nature he's a bit aggressive and probably not to smart. This is a summary of his conduct while in prison, can you imagine the freedom to be himself when he's on the outside and not being monitored 24/7. Look this over, you don't want to miss the assaults or weapons infractions....while in jail.

It's this little fella, I say that because he is only 5'3 and probably suffering from little man syndrome, that is running his mouth and literally puffing his chest out in the videos. His buds have to hold him back as he shouts 'shoot me nigga'. I'd question his use of the N word given the situation. This is the guy that shortly after that removes his shirt so everyone can see he's badass and ready to throw down. The dude means business now......

But he does what guys like this do. He looks for weakness, he looks for someone he thinks he can intimidate, he looks for someone he thinks won't fight, maybe can't fight, and will back down. So he picks the pudgy baby faced kid. He follows the kid, the kid runs and he chases him. He catches up to the kid and attacks, tries to take the gun and gets himself killed.

I'll change my opinion if additional facts come out but right now I think Joseph Rosenbaum is the sole cause of his own death and the shootings that occurred immediately after his that night.

For those that think I might be a little hard on sex offender Joeseph, that he payed his debt to society, I'll say I doubt he's changed his stripes. At the time of his death he had an open criminal case filed 7/20/20 for battery, domestic abuse, disorderly conduct.....and another one filed 7/30/20 for bail jumping.

Someone may have asked this already but isn’t interesting that Kyle allegedly randomly shoots three people in self defense, two are felons and one is a pedophile?

It’s official!!!

After 6 burglaries, 3 car thefts, multiple illegal trespasses, an ongoing cocaine and alcohol addiction, committing 2 violent home invasions, 3 armed robberies, dealing Fentanyl and Meth, passing counterfeit money, beating 4 victims senseless and being arrested 23 times since 1998...

George Floyd hasn’t committed any crimes in the past five months....

That’s effective police work
