I went on the Sea Ray website and the 260 Sundancer is no longer listed. Did Sea Ray stop making it?

Sure looks like it. I’ve seen quite few people with Beneteau cruisers (Antares/Jeneau) (outboard), and Regal XO cruisers (33, 26) in Florida recently , so people want this type of boat.

You know, it seems like Brunswick, as a marine conglomerate, had more options for "revenue", "profits", and "shareholder value", than just Sea Ray alone:

No wonder a lot of Sea Ray Models are gone. They made their bed with MarineMax 15-20 years ago as their primary sales outlet, and then MarineMax started selling Princess, Azimut, Galleon, and even Hatteras - no wonder they pulled out for 40'+ boats.

Now their smaller Sea Rays compete with their own Boston Whaler, Harris Pontoon, Bayliner, etc. brand lines. Sad times for us as Sea Ray Owners. The '08 Crash didn't help - My Chattanooga Master Sea Ray Dealer - Erwin Marine, sold a lot of large Sea Rays. In 2010, I was talking to the owner, Kayo Erwin, and he pointed to a Harris Pontoon with a Mercury engine in his showroom, and he said, "two years ago I didn't even sell these".

Now that you mention it, Nunmaker Yachts, in Louisiana, had numerous pontoon boats on display at the boat show in August. It was disappointing me because I went to see big, luxurious boats I couldn’t afford. Instead I ended up being escorted to some party barge I can get at Bass Pro.

I spoke to a Sea Ray rep today at the NY boat show. It's official, Sea Ray is no longer producing the 260 Sundancer.
