GoPro hero 9

Funny you mention that, I had to check my props the other day and my swim platform is so close to the surface I can't see the drives. So I put my old Hero 2 and LED light on a selfie stick and lowered it down to get some shots of the props.

Sorry I don't know anything about the version 9. It looks like a great cam though.

I love it! Hero Session 5 was my first camera, wife got me the 9 for Xmas last year….awesome camera! love the front screen…Reason I asked is because I’m pretty sure you can text photos from the camera straight to people’s phones, but am having a hard time figuring it out

Hand it to a 6 year old. In ten minutes you'll know everything, to work it like you designed it yourself.

Funny you should say that. Last weekend we had a family reunion here and one of the grand kids is a 11 year old boy who has mild autism.

I had an old Go Pro 3 that I hadn't used in years, along with a bunch of accessories. I gave it to him and within 20 minutes he was taking videos with it and had them displayed on his phone.

Kids these days are amazing. He has a "new" camera to play with, I have more shelf space in my closet. Win-Win for both sides.

You got that right first class! Kids know all this new technology

Only way I’ve found to do it is from my phone while in the GoPro app

My son bought three of them on some package deal. He has only used one, one time. I asked him about them and he told me they were easy to use. Said I was too old to use them and to not try. Kids!

Is 21 too old to send to an orphanage?

Lol! Kids these days:) I will say they are fairly easy to use, but there are so many different settings, gives you a headache sometimes:/

I look at it this way. 1, I'm not a Kool Aide drinker. I don't follow the masses.
2, I'm a cheap bastard. ( unless it's whiskey)

So I got one of the cheap Big 5 Chinese ones for $20. They are usually harder to work due to never having anything that looks to be instructions. And I got it figured out after two weeks playing with it. So hope is high that the high dollar product with documents can be figured out easily.

Now I just hope that all that work to figure it out isn't lost when I put it on the boat, and it falls off and goes to the bottom.

Well, I will give you some advice then my friend, attach some float device to it. I lost a GoPro at the bottom of my lake, 25” of water, ugh, (and after my admiral had said repeatedly “maybe you should put the floaty on that while on the lake), NEVER gonna love that down lol! Still trying to figure a way to retrieve the damn thing!

In 25" of water I would just bend over and pick it up. :D At 25' I would hold my breath and let the chips fall where they may.

I got a steel cable for mine. But with everything, Murphy will be there to help.o_O

I thought about it, but figured I couldn’t hold my breath that long, I did write the coordinates down though, maybe someday…

Are those only good to 3 meters? If so, it's gone. That case would have leaked. Just hope currents haven't taken it. Just get some random kid with a garden hose. Thats what dad would have done to us. Actually, I think he did once. Yeah, half way to the Channel Islands when he noticed the drain plug wasn't in the transom. After was when he told me about the sharks and Grouper so big, they can eat a kid my size in one bite. All these memories might explain a few things now.

The 9 is suppose to be good up to 33ft, but who knows, I wondered about the current and visibility too, bottom line…..maybe I should take the admirals advice sometimes lol

Never give in. Never! LOL

At 33' your good then. I would ask someone from a local dive school. They might do it for the fun. And they can log the time. Be a great way to find drunk Barbs jewelry too. Drunk Barb is always loosing things in the water out there.

Sometimes. I'm always trying to tell people that, that thing on top of my shoulders is not just a hat rack. For some reason, most don't agree.
