Great weather, great weekend, boat ran great!

We had a great weekend down at jewfish key. Arrived at 10:30 on Saturday, left at noon on Monday. Boat ran great, and generator ran all night on Sunday, only 4 hours on Saturday, but it was just gunk in the strainer and old barnacles in the intake, I cleaned those on Sunday morning, and it was good to go all night.
Rafted up to a 44’ Aquila, that was a really nice boat.

Great spot. We've anchored by Mar Vista Restaurant many times also. Glad it was only junk in the strainer.

Only when they are open, but it literally never rained that weekend so who knows. I wish I had taken pics of the octopus/squid and the shrimp. The shrimp was cleaning my ladder, the other was using the ladder as cover and would jump out every 20 seconds to grab another bite to eat as small fish swam by...

That was sort of lucky. I thought they all came like that, then I saw 2 dock mates with the aluminum, and I was like wow, the SS really looks good, how did I manage that? Of course, I end up cleaning it every trip while we are out on the water. Oh well, pros and cons to everything...
