Guitar is 'relatively' new to me, but I've been playing bass and drums for 35 years. I cut my hair and bought a suit in 1988 and haven't really played live in about as long, but I have a home studio where I make my noisy creations. Here's one:

My favorite ax is the American Strat (which I use in the solo), but the Schecter sounded fatter on this tune.

I have 6 basses and 4 guitars in all. A couple vintage basses, a 1975 Gibson Grabber and an original 1982 graphite Steinberger, in the collection.

Thanks! That Grabber sounds amazing in the studio, but it's like playing a freaking tree trunk. It's massive. Gene used 'em of course, so did Green Day, and ELO .... but I actually (surprisingly) found photos of John Entwistle and Stanley Clark with a Grabber in hand, pretty cool.

Here's my gaggle of guitars. L to R

Squier Precision Bass knock-off. Picked this up on FB Marketplace for recording demos and playing my own bass on originals. Easier than getting my bassplayer over to the house. This baby was made in Indonesia, before they farmed out all the production to China.

1983 Gibson Les Paul Custom Shop Edition. My Dad bought this one for me back in 1986. Have played the heck out of this guitar in 3 different bands over the past 30+ years.

200x Fender Jaguar HH. Made in Mexico. Love this guitar, sounds and plays great for a NAFTA instrument. Can split the coils. Each humbucker has a pot that can create full humbucker or full single coil sounds, and every sound in btwn. Gig with this regularly.

2011 Fender American Pro HSS Strat. Bought it used on Craig's List.

2016 Epiphone ES-339. Off a slow boat from China. I couldn't afford a real 339. Fell in love with the color and with the sound of this guitar. Also has coil splitting, but not pots - you push/pull out the volume knob so it's either ALL humbucker or ALL single coil.

All of the electrics (not the bass) are rotated through, in the order yous see here, at gigs. Next gig is the Epi's turn.

2013 Takamine EF 440 SC GN. Made in JAPAN. Never buy a Tak made in Korea or China. Garbage. Ask me how I know. This is my workhorse - I play more acoustic trio gigs than full band gigs, so this thing is used an awful lot. This was an ebay find, at a local pawn shop of all places. Traded in my mistake Tak + cash for this guitar. Love it.

That's a great idea! I'm sure one of you has a boat big enough to host it. One Big floating CSR jam.
